Crib mattress is well known as a mini bed or junior bed. The dimensions of this mattress are typically 27¼ x 57⅝ inches within 6 inches thickness. Crib mattress is specially made for babies and infants, and are useable for toddlers if the mattress is an extra one inch taller. However, there is an added benefit called "breathability" that makes infants breathable while sleeping on their tummy and does decrease SIDS risk. However, Crib mattress is also easy to clean.

Basically, Cot mattresses are same as Crib mattresses but are much softer than Cribs. However,  It is a good option for those who have a larger body and also can be used for dorm rooms or guest rooms.
